Did you know that there are significantly more domain name registrations for Barack Obama than John McCain based on a research by IDG found using DomainTools? Using DomainTools to query for domains, IDG saw 2,357 domains for Obama and 1,431 domains for McCain. But within these domain registrations there was a mixture of pro- and anti- websites as well as for their running mates so this report doesn’t necessarily say who is more popular or who is more likely leading among internet webmasters.
